Hankó said the scheme, part of the Ányos Jedlik Energy Program, aimed to strengthen the competitiveness of local companies and foster ties with universities.

Lantos said companies could apply for HUF 100 mln-600 mln of support in the scheme, which would support the development of innovative products and solutions, contributing to exports and strengthening Hungary’s energy sovereignty.

Businesses may apply for funding to advance green hydrogen production, waste heat recycling, battery life optimisation, and building energy technologies. The tender details are available on the website of the National R&D&I Office.
