Hungarian gamers make nearly twice as many payment transactions as non-gaming Visa cardholders, while overall European data show that spending on gaming has grown 60% more than travel, 75% more than fashion, and 85% more than theater and cinema, making it one of the fastest growing sectors on the continent.
Visa also reported that gamers spend more and make more transactions than the average European cardholder, with Spaniards spending the most on video games and Hungarians making the highest number of transactions on average.
