The Pollstar & VenuesNow ‘Impact International’ honor recognizes music and entertainment industry leaders from across the year who are leading significant projects and making a significant impact in the industry, and contributing to positive change through key decisions. The highly prestigious professional awards are underwritten by Pollstar magazine, one of the concert and live music industry’s leading international resources, and VenuesNow, the trade publication for the world’s entertainment venues.
This year’s winners were honored at a reception at the legendary, world-famous London jazz club Ronnie Scott’s on November 26.
“It’s a great honor to receive such a prestigious award and to be shortlisted alongside such ‘heavyweight’ international professionals. Although my name is on the list of award winners, the recognition belongs to the entire Sziget team, as together we are trying to set the Sziget Festival on a new development path, for which international awards like this and others like it provide further motivation”, said Tamás Kádár at the London awards reception.
