Varga said drugmaker Richter has increased the value of its investments in Moldova to €10 million, establishing a new distribution warehouse in the country.

Discussion has started regarding the possible conclusion of a contract with a Hungary-based company to carry out aircraft maintenance work for the national airline Air Moldova. Talks between the two countries’ investment agencies on water management, environment protection and farm technology partnerships are ongoing. 

Moldova’s prime minister will make an official visit to Budapest on November 5, when a Hungarian-Moldovan business forum will be held in Budapest, Varga added.
