At a joint press conference after the meeting, Szijjártó said the electric vehicle industry and battery production form an "important link" between Hungary and Congo, noting that more than 70% of the cobalt used by the global battery industry comes from the country.
He added that a number of Hungarian companies are involved in a USD 600 million infrastructure program that aims to connect Congo with ports in Tanzania.
