Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao signed a dozen bilateral agreements on Saturday, during an official visit by the Chinese premier to Budapest, the National Development Ministry said.
National Development Minister Tamás Fellegi, who is also government commissioner for Hungarian-Chinese economic relations, signed a declaration of understanding with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on developing air and water transportation and with Chinese Trade Minister Chen Deming on investment incentives. Fellegi signed a declaration of understanding with China’s ambassador to Hungary Gao Jian on railway developments and freight deliveries.
Sándor Demján, who heads Hungarian business association MOSz, signed a declaration of cooperation with China International Commerce Chamber chief Wan Jifei on establishing a bilateral business council.
