The resolution instructs the finance minister to take steps to ensure the EUR 187 mln in financial support, Hungary's share of the EUR 18 bln in credit the European Union is offering to Ukraine.
The resolution states the government's "continued commitment to participating in financial support necessary because of the war in Ukraine".
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said last Friday that Hungary would not accept joint borrowing by the EU to assist Ukraine and recommended member states decide how much they want to contribute to Ukraine's operation, then divide that up among themselves in a "proportional, fair" manner.
He said Hungary could contribute an annual HUF 60 bln-70 bln from the central budget in the framework of a bilateral agreement with Ukraine.
