The agreement will come into effect from Tuesday, Szijjártó said.
Szijjártó said he was participating in a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.
Hungary has also reached agreements on mutual recognition of COVID immunity certificates with the Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Turkey, Bahrain, Mongolia, Georgia, Moldova, Cyprus, Slovakia, Morocco, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Albania. A similar agreement is expected to be reached with Cape Verde from August 1. Romania also honors Hungarian immunity certificates and vice versa.
