Szijjártó noted that 180,000-200,000 Hungarians live in the United Kingdom and said the number of consular cases managed there has tripled in the past 10 years.
He said over 800 British companies employ some 55,000 people in Hungary, adding that bilateral trade between Hungary and the United Kingdom neared EUR 5 bln last year.
In a post on Facebook later on Tuesday, Szijjártó said he met with his British counterpart Liz Truss while in London.
