Szijjártó expressed Hungary's condolences at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), his ministry said in a statement.
He noted that Hungary had sent 167 search-and-rescue experts to Turkiye in the aftermath of the earthquake. Those teams, supported by 29 dogs, rescued 35 people, he added.
The minister said Hungary wants to participate in the Turkic Investment Fund, bringing economic cooperation with OTS members "to a higher level".
He added that resources from the fund could be used for infrastructure developments in the region necessary to secure Hungary's energy supply through diversification.
