State secretary for foreign affairs and external economic relations Péter Szijjártó met with Moldova’s deputy economy minister Octavian Calmic before a meeting of the Hungarian-Moldovan Joint Economic Committee in Budapest on Tuesday. Moldova’s government is open to the participation of Hungarian environmental protection and water management companies in the country’s development projects, Szijjártó said. “Among our plans are assisting cooperation between Moldova’s national carrier and Hungarian technical companies…and incentives for the establishment of joint ventures in third countries,” he added. Hungary supports Moldova’s efforts at European integration, Szijjártó said.
