More than 20 Albanian and eleven Hungarian companies participated at the business forum in the capital, as well, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade state secretary László Szabó told MTI over the phone. Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air was among the Hungarian companies and was looking for opportunities to launch a direct flight between Hungary and Albania, he added.
According to the state secretary, Hungarian companies have opportunities to boost investments in Albaniaʼs food, energy and logistics industries as well as in infrastructure development.
The state secretary also noted that the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH), set up by the Hungarian state to seek out new opportunities for Hungarian companies on foreign markets, may open an office in Tirana this year.
