The funding was part of a combined EUR 397.5 mln in monies from the European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) MEPs allocated to 17 member states, including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Albania, Montenegro and Serbia, in addition to Hungary.
Hungary was paid a EUR 26.6 mln advance in COVID support from the EUSF in November.
