In year-on-year terms, the price of every group of high-priority crops rose, with the price of potatoes increasing the least (9.0%) and the price of fruits growing the most (26%), KSH said.
Data by the office show that the price of cereals grew by a y.o.y. 12%, which was primarily due to a 23% increase in the price of corn, while the price of wheat increased by 0.4%. The producer price level of live animals reached 1.1% and the price of animal products was 16% lower, KSH added.
In the period of January-October, agricultural prices were down by a year-on-year 2.3%, with the price of crop products rising by 2.0% and the price of live animals and animal products down by 8.8%, KSH said. The price of pigs for slaughter fell by 11% and the producer price of milk by 21%.
