Under the EU’s decision, roaming charges in the European Union were capped at the price for domestic service plus €0.05 per minute for voice calls and per megabyte for data transfer, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Charges for taking calls were capped at the domestic price plus €0.0114 (HUF 4.4) per minute and charges for text messages were limited to the domestic price plus €0.02 (HUF 7.7).
Under an earlier decision reached by the EU, roaming charges will be eliminated entirely in the European Union as of June 15, 2017.
