The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), which is in charge of running the scheme launched by the National Economy Ministry, said on Tuesday that the suspension will allow for a thorough evaluation of the applications already submitted.

The investment phase of the program will run until June 30.

The scheme, launched in March, has an allocation of HUF 100 billion.

Companies exchange a token, 1% equity stake for the financing that carries no right of control and may be repurchased at any time.

Late in December, the National Economy Ministry said that positive decisions on HUF 27 bln of investments in companies had been taken in the Demján Sándor Capital Program.
