The EU measure of harmonized index of consumer prices, or HICP, rose 12.8% year-on-year in July, following an 12.6% increase in June.
On a month-on-month basis, the HICP increased 0.6% in July, after a 1.1% growth in the previous month.
Earlier this month, the Bratislava-based statistical office reported that that the consumer prices gained 13.6% yearly in July and rose 0.8% from a month ago
