Prices moderated for food & non-alcoholic beverages (0.5% vs 0.7% in May), transport (4.1% vs 5.5%), alcoholic beverages & tobacco (6.9% vs 7.7%), clothing & footwear (2.7% vs 3.1%), health (6.7% vs 7.1%), restaurants & hotels (6.6% vs 7.1%), and miscellaneous goods & services (3.4% vs 3.7%). Moreover, deflation continued for recreation & culture (-0.8% vs -0.5%).
Meanwhile, prices rebounded for housing & utilities (0.1% vs -0.1%) and remained unchanged for furnishings, household equipment & routine household maintenance (1.5%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices stalled in June, following a 0.1% rise in the previous month.
