There was also a drop in cost of transportation (-0.6%vs 1.8% in the previous month) and moderate deceleration in cost of communication (0.7% vs 1%), recreation & culture (8.7% vs 9%), and miscellaneous goods (7.4% vs 7.9%).
On the other hand, inflation accelerated for housing & utilities (13% vs 10.7%), alcoholic beverages, tobacco & narcotics (9.2% vs 8.7%), and health (9% vs 8.6%).
Compared to the previous month, the consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.5%, above the 0.3% increase in the prior month
