Prices increased for: food & non-alcoholic beverages (by 1.3%), clothing & footwear (by 5%), housing & utilities (by 5.6%), furnishings & household equipment (by 5%), health (by 6.8%) and restaurants & hotels (by 9.4%).
Additionally, costs rose for alcoholic beverages, tobacco & narcotics (8.7%), transport (4.5%) and miscellaneous goods & services (3.7%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices added 0.4%, following a 0.7% increase in April.
