The consumer price index (CPI) rose 5.9% year-on-year in September, following a 5.5% increase in August.
Transport cost grew 18.5% yearly in September. Prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, and food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 7.2% and 4.4%, respectively.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.6% in September, following a 0.3% increase in the prior month.
