It was the lowest reading since March 2022, mainly due to the slowdown in prices of food & non-alcoholic beverages (17.8% vs 18.9 in May), housing & utilities (14.6% vs 16.1%), recreation & culture (12.4% vs 13.3%), and miscellaneous goods & services (13.4% vs 13.8%).

Cost for transport also fell (-9.7% vs -3.2%), while remaining almost unchanged for alcoholic beverages & tobacco (12.4% vs 12.5%) and health (9.9% vs 10%).

On monthly basis, the consumer price index (CPI) showed no growth.
