On a monthly basis, employment edged 0.1% higher, equivalent to an increase of approximately 5,000 full-time workers, driven by admissions in units including seasonal workers during the summer.
Meanwhile, average wages in Poland's corporate sector increased by 13% in June, compared with the same month a year earlier, the Warsaw-based statistics agency said.
The average gross monthly wage last month was PLN 6,554.87 (EUR 1,379). The figures are for companies with more than nine employees.
