The 19 medals won by the Hungarian Olympic team fulfilled the bettors’ hopes, with 95% of the bets made on Tippmix expecting at least this number of podium finishes.
“As a betting organizer, the Olympics are always a special challenge, as we have to offer odds on many sports and events that are normally less focused on, and reliable information is more difficult to access,” said the head of sports betting at Szerencsejáték Zrt., Zoltán Horváth.
“This year, moreover, our bettors could choose from more options than at any previous Olympics, and we placed great emphasis on the participation of Hungarian athletes.”
