Inflation accelerated for services (4.3% vs 2.5% in December), while that ticked higher for non-food products (4.8% vs 4.6%).
Meanwhile, food inflation eased further to a 2-1/2-year low of 4.2% (vs 4.6%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.8% in January, rebounding from a 0.4% decrease in December.
