Prices eased for all sub-indices, namely; mining & quarrying (17.2% vs 25.2% in February), manufacturing (3% vs 10.7%), electricity, gas, steam & air-conditioning supply (43.7% vs 62.9%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management & remediation activities (26.7% vs 29.1%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 2.5% in March, the second straight month of contraction and the sharpest decline since April 2020, following a 1.5% drop in the previous month.
