It was the lowest producer inflation since March 2021. Costs declined for manufacturing (-0.7% vs 3.4% in April) and slowed down for mining & quarrying (16.4% vs 17.5%), as well as electricity gas, steam & air conditioning supply (17.7% vs 36.2%).

On the other hand, prices advanced faster for water supply, sewerage, waste management & remediation activities (15.5% vs 14%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices went down 1.2%, following an upwardly revised 2% fall in April.
