Revenue from premiums on life insurance policies fell 17% to HUF 295 bln. Revenue from premiums on general insurance policies rose 12% to HUF 484 bln.
Revenue from premiums on compulsory vehicle insurance increased 8% to HUF 161 bln, while revenue from premiums on comprehensive vehicle policies rose 19% to HUF 82 bln.
Insurers' after-tax profit fell 37% to HUF 17 bln during the period, MNB says.
