The number of contracts increased 16.5% to 84,282, Istvan Zs. Nagy said.
The entire leasing portfolio reached HUF 2.374 trillion at the end of 2024, up about 10.9% from 12 months earlier. Contract numbers slipped by approximately 7% to 318,993 during the period.
SMEs accounted for 62% of leasing company clients, while big companies made up 18%, state and institutional clients 11.4% and retail clients 8.6%.
Vehicle leases accounted for 56.8% of total contract value, or HUF 551.4 bln. New assets accounted for 80% of the contract value.
