Commissions volume in Hungary increased 26% to HUF 2.3 bln as declining lending rates and the phasing out of an earlier home purchase subsidies scheme boosted demand.
In Poland, commission volume jumped 69% to HUF 1.2 bln.
Duna House noted that it had ceased its Italian real estate activities as of January 1, 2024, pursuant to a cooperation agreement signed with Italian real estate agency Professione Casa. Under the deal, Duna House's Italian unit, HGroup, acquired a 10% stake in Professione Casa and formed an exclusive cooperation to provide loan brokerage services to the real estate agency's clients for a period of at least 15 years, while integrating its own real estate activity into Professione Casa.
Commissions revenue of Duna House's own offices increased 14% to HUF 0.5 bln.
The brokered loan volume of the group climbed 30% to HUF 248 bln. Brokered loan volume reached HUF 117 bln in Poland, HUF 110 bln in Italy, and HUF 21 bln in Hungary.
