Output prices fell mainly due to a further slowdown in prices of energy (79.2% vs 87.2% in July).

On a monthly comparison basis, the industrial producer price index (PPI) stagnated in August, after an increase of 1.0% in July. Industrial producer prices on the domestic market increased by 30.5% year-on-year and were 0.5% higher month-on-month in August.

On the non-domestic market, Croatia's PPI rose by 13.2% on the year and dipped 0.6% in monthly terms in August.
