Unemployment among people in the 15-29 years bracket went up to 9.7% in the last quarter of 2021 from 9.3% in the comparable quarter of 2020.
The long-term unemployment rate (people without a job for more than a year) was 2.5%, or 80,800 people.
The employment rate among people aged 15 to 64 was 68.5%, or nearly 3 million people.
The share of economically active people aged 15-64 stood at 71.8%.
Economically inactive people aged 15-64 exceeded 1.2 million in the quarter under review, representing 28.2% of the population in this age group.
