BSE profit rise fivefold in 2021

The after-tax profit of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) rose almost fivefold to HUF 586 million in 2021, the bourse said on its website yesterday following its annual general meeting.

Revenue increased by around 5% to HUF 3.46 billion. EBITDA was up 15% at HUF 982 mln.

Members at the meeting decided that the BSE would pay a HUF 503 mln dividend for the year, equalling HUF 93 per share.

The annual turnover on the stock exchange was more than HUF 3 trillion last year, BSE said.
