The hourly pay rate ranged between HUF 1,700 and HUF 1,900 in most regions but was close to HUF 2,500 in Central Hungary and the capital.
The analysis was based on the wage data of close to 7,000 workers.
The gross hourly statutory minimum wage in Hungary is HUF 1,704 for skilled laborers and HUF 1,334 for unskilled workers.
