The hourly pay rate ranged between HUF 1,400 and HUF 1,600 in most regions, but was as high as HUF 2,000 in central Hungary and the capital.
The analysis was based on the wage data of close to 7,000 workers.
The gross hourly statutory minimum wage in Hungary is HUF 1,495 for skilled laborers and HUF 1,150 for unskilled workers.
