Prices accelerated for; food & non-alcoholic beverages by 7.9% (vs 7.8% in August), healthcare by 1.4% (vs 1.3%), recreation & culture by 4.9% (vs 3.9%) and education by 2.3% (vs 2.2%).
Also, transport costs declined at a softer pace of 7.2% (vs -10%).
Conversely, prices slowed down for; alcoholic beverages & tobacco (3% vs 3.2%), clothing & footwear (3.2% vs 4.4%), housing utilities (2.1% vs 2.3%), furniture, household & maintenance (5.4% vs 5.9%), hotels, coffee-houses & restaurants (4.7% vs 5%) and miscellaneous goods & services (3.1% vs 3.7%).
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices rose 0.7% in September, following a 0.6% uptick in August.
