Some 81 COVID-infected people died yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths to 40,164.
The number of recovered persons is increasing, currently standing at 1,155,505, and the number of active infections now stands at 122,424.
A total of 2,647 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, 249 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,299,590, of whom 6,045,893 have already had their second vaccination and 3,306,370 have already had their booster jabs.
