The death toll has increased to 29,380.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 800,386 up from 799,588 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 655,959.
Currently, 1,836 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 212 of whom are on ventilators.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 143,073. Pest County is the second most affected, with 110,933 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (45,856 cases).
So far 5,687,117 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 16,210 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
According to the website, a total of 4,829,595 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 2,814,805.
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 69,078.
