The number of active infections has reached 118,633.
The number of COVID-19 deaths stands at 38,743.
There are 4,063 hospitalized patients, including 409 on ventilators.
A total of 1,245,319 coronavirus cases have been registered in Hungary since the start of the pandemic.
Updated vaccination data will be released on Tuesday, the website said. According to data published last Thursday, 6,245,773 people have been inoculated against the coronavirus. They include 5,957,571 who have already had their second jab, while 3,136,000 have had a booster jab.
Hungary started its vaccine rollout the day after Christmas last year, first inoculating healthcare workers, then nursing home residents and staff. Hungarians over the age of 65 who registered to be inoculated were the third group to get the vaccine, starting in February, followed by vaccination of Hungarians under 60 with chronic health conditions. Soldiers and Hungarians in law enforcement were the next to get jabs, followed by workers in critical infrastructure, such as public transport and electricity, then teachers and school staff. Adults under the age of 60 followed.
The number of Hungarians who received at least one jab reached 2.5 million – about one-quarter of the population – on April 6, triggering a gradual easing of pandemic restrictions.
The number passed the 3.5 million mark on April 23, prompting the re-start of outdoor dining at restaurants and cafés.
A range of service providers, from cinemas to gyms, re-opened to Hungarians with COVID immunity certificates on May 1, after 4 million Hungarians were inoculated.
An evening curfew was lifted, while rules on mask-wearing and events were eased after 5 million people got their jabs by the Whitsun weekend.
On July 3, after 5.5 million people were inoculated, the government eased pandemic restrictions further, scrapping most rules on mandatory mask-wearing and allowing access to hotels, indoor dining areas and baths to people without immunity certificates.
Hungary switched its mass vaccination rollout over to "standby" mode early in the summer as the number of daily first vaccinations dwindled.
Booster jabs were made available to Hungarians four months past their second COVID jab from August 1.
A vaccination campaign for Hungarians 12 and older in schools was held during the days ahead of the start of the academic year on September 1.
Late in October, the government gave employers a mandate to require their workers to be inoculated against the coronavirus "as a condition for working" with the aim of giving the inoculation rate a further boost.
Hungary reinstated an indoor mask mandate from November 20 as fourth-wave case numbers continued to rise.
The country started vaccinating 5- to 11-year-olds against the coronavirus on December 15.
