Some 67 COVID-infected people died yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths to 40,083.
The number of recovered persons is increasing, currently standing at 1,149,849, and the number of active infections now stands at 118,945.
A total of 2,758 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, 257 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,297,101, of whom 6,039,940 have already had their second vaccination and 3,299,569 have already had their booster jabs.
