Some 80 COVID-infected people died yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths to 39,679.
The number of recovered persons is increasing, currently standing at 1,133,345, and the number of active infections has decreased to 103,409.
A total of 3,101 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, 307 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,272,718, of whom 5,996,472 have already had their second vaccination and 3,198,951 have already had their booster jabs.
