Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 132,632. Pest County is the second most affected, with 100,476 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (40,403 cases).
So far 4,934,786 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 44,370 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 62,286.
According to the website, a total of 2,835,894 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 1,197,685.
