Currently, 3,282 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 379 of whom are on ventilators.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 142,054. Pest County is the second most affected, with 109,930 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (45,154 cases).
So far 5,545,305 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 20,197 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
According to the website, a total of 4,346,089 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 2,530,147.
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 68,068.
