The death toll has increased to 29,792.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 805,302 up from 804,987 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 708,198.
Currently, 739 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 77 of whom are on ventilators.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 143,689. Pest County is the second most affected, with 111,603 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (46,348 cases).
So far 5,866,214 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 7,759 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
According to the website, a total of 5,227,318 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 3,732,252.
