The death toll has increased to 25,184.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 750,508 up from 746,802 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 455,029.
Currently, 8,445 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,051 of whom are on ventilators.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 136,773. Pest County is the second most affected, with 104,648 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (42,107 cases).
So far 5,124,731 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 47,751 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
According to the website, a total of 3,252,579 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 1,385,898.
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 64,010.
