Some 99 people died yesterday due to COVID-related causes, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 42,269.
The number of recovered persons has reached 1,410,550, and the number of active infections now stands at 231,613.
A total of 5,198 patients infected with coronavirus are hospitalized, 198 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,376,902, of whom 6,127,609 have already had their second vaccination and 3,746,680 have already had their booster jabs.
