A total of 162 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 33,866.
The number of recovered patients rose to 862,534, while the number of active cases stands at 172,488.
Some 6,913 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 695 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,087,474, of whom 5,823,818 have already received their second vaccination. About 2.27 million people have already received their third vaccination.
