The death toll has increased to 22,409.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 693,676 up from 691,743 yesterday.

Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 129,055. Pest County is the second most affected, with 97,245 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (39,026 cases).
So far 4,795,584 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 47,578 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 61,363.
According to the website, a total of 2,536,751 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 1,005,936.
