Some 48 people died yesterday due to COVID-related causes, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 45,390.
The number of recovered persons has reached 1,700,728, and the number of active infections now stands at 100,193.
A total of 1,896 patients infected with coronavirus are hospitalized, 55 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,402,100, of whom 6,186,486 have already had their second vaccination and 3,842,265 have already had their booster jabs.
