Some 59 people died yesterday due to COVID-related causes, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 44,495.
The number of recovered persons has reached 1,636,781, and the number of active infections now stands at 126,009.
A total of 2,766 patients infected with coronavirus are hospitalized, 114 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,397,623, of whom 6,176,191 have already had their second vaccination and 3,822,108 have already had their booster jabs.
